Why create an Ontology?
Without a shared vocabulary, each product invents field names, guesses /invocations shapes, or describes Offer Matrix columns inconsistently. The ontology makes platform meaning explicit and accessible.
What it gives users
- A concept catalog — start at Concept Index for every class and property; module overviews + generated catalogs under Ontology in the docs nav
- Stable contracts — Turtle downloads for integrations, validation, and AI grounding
- Clear open vs closed data — flexible customer features; fixed offer rows
- Round trip with Mongo — export indicative ontology from a collection on
/data, or ground synthetic generation with any uploaded TTL
Generate and synthetic reliability
Ontology improves generation when treated as a contract (classes, properties, shapes), not only soft prompt text. Workbench2 synthetic can ingest any Turtle; collection Export → ttl drafts an indicative ontology from live data.
Industry business domains (CRM, banking, …) remain in the separate domain catalog (https://ecosystemcode.com/ontology/…). This platform ontology covers ecosystem.Ai product concepts.
